Separate Lies- has always been a favorite of mine.Through out the movie, Tom Wilkinson simply shines. Emily Watson actually caught my interest too.

I think Tom Wilkinson and Emily Watson worked wonderful in Separate Lies. The great supporting cast includes Tom Wilkinson, Emily Watson, Hermione Norris, John Warnaby, Rupert Everett.

If you are a true like Separate Lies, you will want to add this movie to your collection.

Summary of Separate Lies:
Secrets and lies spiral out of control in this heart-pounding suspense thriller. Tom Wilkinson and Emily Watson star as James and Anna, a seemingly happy couple whose marriage begins to unravel when he learns she's been having an affair with their seductive neighbor Bill (Rupert Everett). When a man turns up dead, James faces another shocking revelation about his wife and her lover, forcing all three into a cover-up that may cost them everything.

The Golem- To begin, this movie has a great beginning; it pulled me right into it.This is something not usually seen in movies of this type, so it makes it an unusual, yet pleasant experience.The action scenes are really great. Ernst Deutsch played his role great. Carl Ebert actually caught my interest.

I think Ernst Deutsch and Carl Ebert worked wonderful in The Golem. The great supporting cast includes Ernst Deutsch, Carl Ebert, Fritz Feld, Otto Gebhr, Max Kronert.

All in all, I would rate this movie an 8.5/10. I would definitely watch this movie again.

Summary of The Golem:
A relic certainly, but a fascinating one, Der Golem is perhaps the screen's first great monster movie. Though it was actually the third time director-star Paul Wegener had played the eponymous creation, the earlier efforts (sadly lost) were rough drafts for this elaborate dramatization of the Jewish legend. When the Emperor decrees that the Jews of mediaeval Prague should be evicted from the ghetto, a mystical rabbi creates a clay giant and summons the demon Astaroth who breathes out in smoky letters the magic word that will animate the golem. Intended as a protector and avenger, the golem is twisted by the machinations of a lovelorn assistant and, like many a monster to come, runs riot, terrorizing guilty and innocent alike until a little girl innocently ends his rampage. Wegener's golem is an impressively solid figure, the Frankenstein monster with a slightly comical clay wig. The wonderfully grotesque Prague sets and the alchemical atmosphere remain potent. --Kim Newman
