Maybe thats what makes the movie so good.The great cast includes Beverly Garland, Bruce Bennett, Lon Chaney Jr., George Macready, Frieda Inescort. The movie moves on like a dream and end leaving you wanting for more.

A young wife (Beverly Garland) is abandoned by her husband on their wedding day. Distraught, she traces him to his ancestral home in the bayous of Louisiana, where, amid the swamps and deadly undergrowth, she discovers a terrible secret.
